Domaine Robert Moncuit has existed since 1889 and cultivates 25 plots adding up to eight hectares of Chardonnay, mostly 50+ year old vines on chalky soils. Moncuits aims for fresh Champagnes that are not dominated by the fruit, but the chalky terroir of Mesnil. Indeed the wines have a great purity and finesse, but a good complexity too. The philosophy of domain is based on the principles of absolute respect for naturalness in the vineyards.

Шампанское выдерживается на осадке 4 - 5 лет, дозировка невелика - 3 г/л, но богатая текстура шампанского позволяет ему прекрасно балансировать с яркой кислотностью.
