Domaine Robert Moncuit exists since 1889 and cultivates 25 plots adding up to eight hectares of Chardonnay, mostly 50+ year old vines on chalky soils. Moncuits aims for fresh Champagnes that are not dominated by the fruit, but the chalky terroir of Mesnil. Indeed the wines have a great purity and finesse, but a good complexity too. The philosophy of domain is based on the principles of absolute respect for naturalness in the vineyards.

Vozemieux Grand Cru consists of grapes planted in 1955. It shows itself very well, spinning in the glass with hints of orange peel, warm bread, wet stones and minerals. The taste is full, with a dense core, bright acids and a long penetrating aftertaste. Champagne is fermented and aged in oak barrels, the dosage is low at 3 g/l, but the rich texture of champagne allows it to perfectly balance with bright acidity.
