Domaine Bruno Colin has a wide range of white and red wines with a strong emphasis on Chassagne. Bruno’s style shows beautiful balance, both aromatically and texturally, while showcasing the delicate minerality and nuanced complexity of each vineyard. His finest assets are the quality of his eight premier cru vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet. Bruno’s success is attributed to his ability to reflect the uniqueness of each vineyard, and his skill in creating expressive and alluring wines.
Production Surface Area: The "Francemont" parcel encompasses 0.41 hectares. The vines were planted in the year 1963. The harvest process involves manual labor and selective sorting directly in the vineyards. After the harvest, the wine is aged for 12 months in 350-liter barrels, with 15 to 20% of the barrels being new, followed by an additional 4 to 6 months in vats before bottling. When tasted, this wine exhibits finesse and shows a reserved character in its youth. With some time in the bottle, it develops a mineral structure and a powerful, rounded palate. It is a full and rich wine, offering plenty of freshness and a long, lingering finish.
