Château Lynch-Bage has a long history and is one of the most interesting wineries in France. The Château is a Grade 5 Grand Cru Classes in 1855, but most leading wine experts agree that the grade should be increased to Grade 2. Château Lynch-Bages is located in the Pauillac area of the Médoc region in Bordeaux. The primary grape variety used in crafting their exceptional grand vin is Cabernet Sauvignon. Renowned for its impressive structure and strong flavors, this wine has the potential to mature gracefully for over two decades. It is regarded as one of the finest wines within its designated area.
The 2020 Echo de Lynch-Bages is produced by blending 60% Cabernet Sauvignon with 40% Merlot. After blending, it undergoes aging in one-year-old French oak barrels for approximately 12 months. This wine has an alcohol content of 13.03%. In terms of appearance, it exhibits a deep garnet-purple color and releases a captivating bouquet of baked black and red cherries, preserved plums, and blackcurrant cordial. Subtle hints of new leather, tobacco leaf, and a touch of medicinal aroma follow. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine offers a rich array of savory flavors, accompanied by a chewy texture and just the right amount of freshness. The finish is slightly rustic in nature. Drink: 2023 - 2033.
