We offer a rare opportunity to access Champagne Bruno Paillard Assemblage 2015 — a wine rarely available on the open market.
Assemblage 2015 is built from first-press juice sourced across six Grand and Premier Cru sites, with around 25% vinified in older oak. The wine spent seven years on lees, followed by at least 18 months of ageing after disgorgement. Extra Brut dosage at 4.5 g/L keeps the structure tight and focused. The profile develops gradually with air. Wild strawberry and red fruit at first, moving toward blackcurrant, then blood orange and pink grapefruit. With time in the glass, darker tones emerge — wild plum, liquorice and a subtle peppery edge.On the palate, the wine is direct and structured, combining fruit and a clear saline line. Candied citrus peel and ripe dark fruit sit on a firm frame, leading into a long finish with cocoa and dried fruit. The 2015 vintage brings density and energy, with a clear sense of drive throughout. The label was created by Gérard Titus-Carmel, whose work explores repetition, structure and the organization of space, reflecting the idea of momentum behind this cuvée.
Bruno Paillard is one of the most respected houses in Champagne, built around the idea of assemblage — combining different crus, grape varieties and vintages with precision. The style is defined by clarity and balance, bringing together elegance and depth without excess weight. A key element is the systematic ageing after disgorgement, allowing the wine to regain equilibrium and fully integrate before release. The 2015 vintage reflects a season shaped by contrast. A mild and humid autumn in 2014 was followed by a relatively cool, wet winter. Spring continued in the same vein before giving way to more than ten weeks of near drought from late May to early August. Flowering took place in stable conditions in mid-June. After a dry summer, rainfall during veraison in the second half of August slowed ripening, but the return of cool, dry weather in early September reactivated maturity. Ripening progressed rapidly, leading to a well-timed harvest that began on September 2 and concluded on September 18 across Champagne.
