It is the winery's first wine to be produced which became, after the constitution of the Appellation's disciplinarian in 1978 - Morellino di Scansano. Dark ruby red. The nose shows scents of ripe berries, blood orange, maraschino cherries, and aromatic herbs, hints of licorice, black pepper, and dark chocolate complete the bouquet. Full body, fine tannins, and a flavorful long finish of rhubarb and myrtle aromas. Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG Variety: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Production: 40.000 bottles.
