These are not wines you come across by chance: small volumes, tight allocations, and some already off the market. Trepail was long associated with David Léclapart, but that changed with the arrival of the Carre brothers — Edouard and Victor. While still part of Champagne Vincent Carre, they launched their own project — Carre Freres. Roles are clearly defined: Edouard handles vinification, Victor the vineyards. The family parcels supply top grower-producers, including Frederic Savart and Champagne Bereche et Fils, but for the brothers volume is simply a tool to select only the best fruit. Their style is defined by the use of new oak, bringing depth, structure and energy. The debut is confident, with volumes remaining strictly limited.
Lambier Wines works directly with Carre Freres, providing access to key cuvées through private allocations for private clients.
