Champagne for hedonists: the current owner and winemaker, Alexandre Chartogne, represents the 12th generation of a winemaking family and is one of the most respected figures of the new Champagne generation. He worked with Anselme Selosse — an experience that strongly shaped his philosophy, without turning him into a copy. The idea is shared, the style is entirely his own.
In 2006, at around 23 years old, Alexandre returned to the family estate Chartogne-Taillet in Merfy and took over the domaine, placing a clear focus on terroir and wine expression.
Today, Chartogne-Taillet is featured on the wine lists of leading restaurants worldwide. Lambier Wines works directly with Chartogne-Taillet, providing access to key cuvées through private allocations for private clients.
