Marc Hebrart is one of the luminaries of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, one of the most renowned villages in the Marne Valley. The village is also home to Billecart-Salmon and the famous Clos des Goisses vineyard. Many believe Mareuil-sur-Aÿ should be classified as a Grand Cru. Hébrart produces Pinot Noir-dominated Champagnes, with Chardonnay making up a smaller part of the blend and no Pinot Meunier used. Hebrart previously supplied grapes to major houses such as Bollinger before deciding to bottle under his own name.

With 90% of its wines exported, the estate—based entirely in Mareuil-Sur-Aÿ—centers its production around Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
