Domaine Les Monts Fournois represents an exciting new chapter in Champagne, centered around the remarkable Premier Cru monopole “Les Monts Fournois” in Ludes, located in the northern Montagne de Reims. Lambier Wines is proud to introduce this estate, which will release its first vintage from the monopole in 2027, crafted from the exceptional 2022 harvest. In the meantime, Domaine Les Monts Fournois is offering an annual series of cuvées under its own label—a limited selection of vintage Grand and Premier Cru Champagnes sourced from outstanding growers in renowned vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and Vallée de la Marne. This collection celebrates the heritage of the Bérêche family, with Juliette Alips collaborating with Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche to showcase historical terroirs and vintages. One such release is the Domaine Les Monts Fournois Montagne 2013, bottled on April 29, 2014, and disgorged in December 2022. Sourced from the single vineyard Les Noues in Verzenay, near the village lighthouse, this wine reflects the terroir’s unique character, influenced by the Mailly red clay that imparts a distinctive identity to the Champagne.
