Champagne Fleury Millésime 2010 Extra Brut is a rich and expressive vintage Champagne, made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, sourced from 30-year-old vines in the Côte des Bar. The grapes are gently pressed in a traditional Coquard Champagne press. Vinification is carefully balanced: Pinot Noir is fermented 60% in stainless steel tanks and 40% in oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation mostly completed. The second fermentation takes place under cork with staples, allowing the wine to develop depth and complexity. On the nose, Champagne Fleury Millésime 2010 Extra Brut opens with generous aromas of honey, roasted and buttery notes, subtly enhanced by smoky accents. The bouquet is vibrant with crystallized citrus and refined minerality. On the palate, it delivers a lively and spicy finish with great balance. The dosage is 4 g/L, and the total production includes 12,400 bottles, 970 magnums, and 198 jeroboams. A superb match for lobster fricassée with morels, veal sweetbreads with chanterelles, or seared foie gras, Champagne Fleury Millésime 2010 Extra Brut is a vintage Champagne of remarkable depth and character.

Champagne Fleury — one of the true pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in Champagne — has deep roots in the Côte des Bar, where the Fleury family has been based since 1895. The house was founded by Emile Fleury, a visionary grower and nurseryman, who was the first to graft Pinot Noir after phylloxera devastated the region, and a leading figure in the fight for the recognition of Aube’s vineyards. Initially supplying grapes to the grandes maisons, the Fleury family began bottling their own Champagne in 1929, becoming one of the first récoltant-manipulants in the region. In 1989, Jean-Pierre Fleury took another bold step by converting the vineyards to biodynamics — the first in Champagne to do so. His children, Jean-Sébastien, Benoît, and Morgane, continue this legacy today. The estate now farms 15 hectares of south and southwest-facing vineyards, predominantly Pinot Noir (85%), alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Meunier. Old vines, some planted in the 1970s, are balanced with ongoing replantings using massale selection. The Fleury family’s deep respect for the land is evident in every aspect of their farming: they plough the soils, follow lunar and planetary rhythms, use horses in the vineyard, and foster biodiversity in harmony with surrounding forests. Thanks to this approach, the wines show generous fruit, precision, and a distinctly vinous character. Alongside their traditional cuvées, the family also produces unique expressions such as 100% Pinot Blanc or 100% Pinot Gris Champagnes in select vintages, as well as still wines under the AOC Coteaux Champenois. Among their most celebrated bottlings is Champagne Fleury Millésime 2010 Extra Brut — a vintage Champagne of remarkable depth and character. Crafted from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this wine delivers rich, layered aromas and an elegant, spiced palate. For collectors and Champagne lovers looking to experience the essence of Fleury’s biodynamic philosophy, this is an exceptional choice. You can buy Champagne Fleury Millésime 2010 Extra Brut now — a standout addition to any fine Champagne collection or a perfect wine for a special occasion.
