Founded in 1918 by Champagne De Sousa, the estate traces back to Manuel De Sousa, who settled in Avize after World War I. Today, it remains a family-run domaine focused on Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, with vines averaging 45+ years. Under Erick De Sousa, the house became a pioneer of biodynamics (Demeter since 2013), emphasizing living soils and oak vinification. The domaine spans ~10 ha plus 4 ha under sharecropping, producing ~100,000 bottles annually. Since 2020, the new generation leads all operations.
Lambier Wines works directly with the estate, offering access via private allocations.
